Wooded Home in South Lake Tahoe description
Surrounded by soaring pines, this beautiful 3BR, 2.5BA split-level home in South Lake Tahoe (sleeps 10) has a huge backyard and it’s minutes from Heavenly Ski Resort. A central location also puts you close to beaches, parks, restaurants and shops.
INSIDE THE HOUSE
Patio steps off the driveway lead to the front door of the house. Inside, a small entry opens out to a split-level staircase. Heading upstairs and turning left, you’ll find a light-filled master bedroom with vaulted ceilings, a king-size bed, and a 40” flat-screen TV. A large en-suite bathroom comes with a walk-in shower and a jetted tub for long and lazy soaks.
There’s a half bath just next door, and further along the hall lies the open-concept living space. A spacious living area offers seating for seven between a plush L- shaped couch and a single seat sofa. There’s a 40" flat-screen TV and a gas fireplace to keep the room snug on chilly nights.
The adjacent dining area seats six, while sliding doors lead to a back deck with a propane grill, patio furniture and views overlooking the wooded backyard.
Steps away from the dining area, an updated kitchen features black granite countertops and a range of appliances including a gas range, microwave, dishwasher and double door stainless steel refrigerator. A kitchen bar with seating for four offers a casual spot to enjoy morning coffee and breakfast pancakes.
Stairs from the main entry lead down to the lower level of the house and the remaining bedrooms. The spacious common area has a twin bunk bed and also serves as a small living area with a 22” TV with game cube and a black queen futon. Sliding doors from this room lead to a huge backyard with soaring pines and a private hot tub.
There’s a full bath just off the guest bedroom with a tub/shower combo. Just next door, a light second bedroom has a queen-size bed, and across the hall a third bedroom also has a queen-size bed along with a 40" flat-screen TV with Wii.

With Heavenly Mountain Resort just a 5-minute drive away, this South Lake Tahoe home is the perfect base for a winter skiing vacation.
Arriving in the warmer months? A fantastic central location puts you within a short drive to local beaches, golfing, and community parks. For a fun day in the sun, drive to Bijou Park where open meadows are surrounded by a range of recreational facilities including volleyball courts, a skateboard park, barbeque pits and one of the country’s top disc golf courses.
You’re also minutes away from local restaurants. Drive 4 minutes to Himmel Haus for classic Bavarian dishes, or head 2 minutes for fabulous Italian cuisine in a cozy setting at Cafe Fiore.
VIOLATION/EVICTION WARNING: Strict ordinances govern Lake Tahoe vacation rentals. This home cannot be used for any parties/weddings/receptions. Maximum allowable occupancy is 10 people and 4 cars, enforced/patrolled 24 hours/day. Excessive noise or over-occupancy at any time of day will result in guest fine up to $2,000 (as well as any fines assessed against the homeowner).
