There are two apartments in a villa that was converted from an ancient paper mill three generations ago. The paper mill was carved out of the cliffs that face the sea and is still owned by the same aristocratic family. The first is connected by an internal staircase of three steps to the second sleeping an additional 4 guests.
Amalfi, Positano, Praiano, Ravello, Scala and Minori are all easy distances from the villa. Ravello is associated with music, starting with the Wagner Festival in July and August where the world?s best musicians and conductors play each night at sunset on the piazza in the middle of the beautiful gardens of Villa Ruolo. Then there is the International weeks of Chamber music, from September through December.
