Villa Tree Tops description
Tree Tops is situated in the sleepy village of Nyanyi, on the south west coast, 5 minutes from upmarket Canggu and the Pan Pacific Hotel.
Nyanyi means "River Song" in Balinese. Derived from the lush vegetation and the many sounds of the cicadas, native birds and wildlife that inhabit the palm fringed river & verdant rice fields.
Mountain fed aquaducts still run through the village center in the old Bali tradition. The locals still bathe in these and the main traffic hazards are the local duck and cow population.
The Beach is volcanic black sand that meets the river and affords spectacular sunset experiences and views to Uluwatu and the Bukit peninsular, with Canggu, Seminyak and Legian in between.
The popular Tanah Lot temple and Greg Norman designed world class golf course at the Pan Pacific resort are located within a few minutes from the village.
Accommodation:
"Tree Tops Villa" is an architecturally designed multi level building that overlooks a private river and pristine rainforest. It is nestled amidst the tall palms that grow through the lower deck structures.
Set on the meandering river Yeh Penet, this Villa features 6 entertaining decks and riverfront massage gazebo . A suspended "10 Meter" elevated wet edge pool looks over the deck, landscaped gardens and river.
The villa is accessed from a private drive and parking bay. A lush descending walkway with tropical plants and water features leads to a hidden oasis of contemporary glass, steel and exotic Indonesian hardwoods.
Guests are greeted with an open plan entry deck featuring glass & 150 year old Sumatran beams. Spacious slate flooring leads to a dining deck, overlooking the pool deck, river deck & gazebo.
A fully equipped kitchen is available for guests who enjoy hands on entertaining. Formal dining for 12 guests is available. Should you have any extra guests, the staff will ensure they are accommodated.
Thick hardwood flooring makes up the base of the upper level. High ceilings with sectioned glass panels meets the roof structure on each side to allow for maximum light.
Stunning sunrises through the palms and the lush sounds of dusk are the feature of Tree Tops Villa.
Drift away to the soothing sound of the river rapids of an evening. Watch exotic flaura and fauna over the bamboo and palm fringed river as you enjoy modern contemporary Bali design. The keen eye will see large Iguanas drift down the river.The shy vibrant blue mini kingfisher, with its red beak and an amazing array of butterflies also call Tree Tops Villa home.
Large "Tokek", gecko, and spectacular green tree frogs can also be found and heard amidst the forest of an evening . The early riser will see the local squirrels scampering amidst the tall river palms to the smell of fresh brewed coffee, and an awaiting breakfast.
Tree Tops Villa offers 5 double bedrooms consisting of king /queen size beds. All rooms have multiple sliding glass doors to decking/, private areas and riverside greenery maximising the Balinese sense of space, and indoor/outdoor culture.
4 childrens bunks have been added to one of the master rooms for guests with children,or toddlers./cots and high chairs are available upon request.
All bedrooms are equipped with D.V.D / flat screens and iphone music facilities. 7 Flat screens are available within the villa.
The upstairs master rooms have 59 channel cable facilities. All bedrooms have air conditioning.
For those who prefer more natural cooling, ceiling fans are in all rooms. The Villa has been designed architecturally for maximum airflow in a modern Indonesian style.
Mosquito nets are provided for the upstairs master rooms if required. The staff will lock down and spray all rooms as per your instructions.
The television room is equipped with cable TV/ DVD & Play station, and can be used as a spare room if required.
Additional daybeds can also be used for guest bedding .The staff will happily move these around the villa to suit your needs.
Standard breakfasts consist of tea/ brewed coffee/ fresh juices and fruit smoothies of your choice. Have "Nyoman" climb one of the many palms to provide fresh coconut juice for your stay ideal for juices and cocktails alike.
Bacon and eggs[any style], fruit pancakes, cereal and fruit platters are provided .
If someone in your booking party has special requirements the staff will shop and cater for those needs within reason. Most western foods are now available in Bali. Send the staff to shop for your needs.
The day staff are delighted to provide a light lunch of your choice. Talk to the staff and stock the kitchen as per your taste.This is not included in the rental package. Chef style meals of an evening can also be arranged through the staff. All fresh produce is available daily at the nearby Tabanan markets.They are very capable of providing your requirements for a memorable in house dining experience.
Mopeds and bikes will be arranged prior to your stay if requested.The overwhelming traffic of Kuta and Seminyak is not an issue around the Village. Explore at your own pace and spend a day enjoying the beaches and nearby villages. Surfboard racks for the mopeds are available upon request.This is not included in the Villa rental.
Tree Tops Villa has Wi Fi facilities or if needed a business suite can be arranged at the Near by Pan Pacific hotel.
Tree Tops Villa provides around the clock security for guests / full time driver upon request/ discreet house staff /daily laundry service/ breakfast / .. [evening chefs or catered functions are available but not included in rental agreement..]. The staff will cater to any request within reason.
Necessary emergency numbers, including western standard medical/hospitals and dental are provided. All international Airline offices /Visa extensions/inter island travel/ export cargo services /chiropractic and physio /local money changing, A.T.Ms will be provided in the villa guide .
In house massages / beauty treatments and signifigantly discounted selected restaurants and leisure activities will also be available for Tree Tops Villa guests .
