Villa the Manor description

This amazing property is product and vision of an interior designer, a completely new construction (2009) on an 80-hectare estate with great hilltop views, a private lake, swimming pool, and a privacy immersed in nature. Arrival itself takes you up a private driveway almost 2 miles long.

The villa enjoys lots of space both internally and, above all, externally. There is ample parking for an almost unlimited number of vehicles, stone/brick floors, beautiful modern furnishings, and a very airy and light Tuscan feel. Large showers, wood beams, oak ceilings, and stone doorways all assist in combining to create a unique, luxurious getaway.

The two-story villa enjoys entrance into the main foyer through a covered, external dining area, looking out over the pool and the surrounding hilltops. Entrance into the villa leads you, to the left, into the beautiful, open kitchen with long, handcrafted wood dining table for 10. The beautiful and modern kitchen boasts two ovens, a 6-range stovetop, an induction hot plate, espresso machine, large refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, & toaster. The kitchen boarders a small reading room with a couch, reading chair, beautiful stone fireplace and oak dresser.

The entrance foyer, to the right, leads into the main living room (which is the actual, formal entrance into the house) and enjoys a large oak table that can be set for formal dining, several couches, a glass coffee table, a large, stone fireplace, and lots of accent pieces such as lamps, mirrors, artwork, candelabra, although in a minimalist context. There is also a secondary sitting area at the back of the living room with a two-person bench and a lounge chair.

There are two bedrooms on the ground floor. The first bedroom, located off of the main living room, is a French double bedroom with Baldachin bed, an oak dresser, wood closet, and a beautiful, en-suite bathroom with a large shower and a separate bathtub, including a lounge chair and candles abounding. The second bedroom is a double bedroom with an oak dresser, a wood closet and a desk. The second bedroom, situated next to the reading room, has an external bathroom with a double sink and a shower.

A set of 15 stone steps leads from the entrance foyer, upstairs to the main sleeping area. The top of the staircase accesses an open living room with several couches, a glass coffee table, and a stone fireplace that accesses a panoramic terrace overlooking the surrounding hilltops.

There are 5 bedrooms located on the second floor. The first is a double bedroom with some loft/storage space, a large dresser and an en-suite bathroom with a large shower. The second bedroom is a queen double with a stone fireplace, hand-crafted oak bookshelves, a dresser, desk and cabinets, and wonderful brick floors. There is also a corridor leading to an additional three bedrooms. The corridor leads into a small foyer and, to the right, to a double bedroom with a wood dresser and closer (enjoying an external bathroom with separate bathtub and shower); straight ahead, there is a second small foyer with a desk, a large oak closet, and a small sofa. There are two bedrooms here. The first is a twin with a closet, desk, and en-suite bathroom with bathtub. The second is a French double with an oak dresser, vanity desk, stone fireplace, and a great, large en-suite bathroom with a marble bathtub, separate shower with large shower heads, and a marble sink. The bedroom leads out onto a private, panoramic terrace.

Space:
The Manor is a very private estate that covers over 190 acres of land of Tuscan countryside on the border with Umbria. This is the green heart of Italy, a land of rolling hills, vineyards, olive groves, and woods of oak and chestnut, where little has changed since St. Francis of Assisi preached here in the Middle Ages.

Please note: All Italian villa rentals are for 7 nights, beginning and ending on Saturdays, unless otherwise noted.
