Those familiar with Capri will know that this beautiful island is not
an easy one to get around. Few properties are easily reachable without
steep slopes and endless steps. Some are only accessible on foot. The
property Villa Piazzetta is blessed with countless privileges and
comforts. The villa is easily accessible both on foot (by crossing the
famous little piazza, full of colourful Mediterranean flowers and
plants), or by car (there is a car park on the villa’s grounds). The
luxurious villa overlooks the Faraglioni, two enormous vertical rocks
protruding from the sea, symbol of Capri. The villa is accessible
directly from the road through a private gate and down a set of steps
leading down to the property entrance. The beach is located within a
short walk from the villa, and sun umbrellas and sun lounges can be
rented there. A supermarket and restaurant are just 200 meters from the
property while all the main facilities, such as banks, bars, shops,
etc., are located in Capri town. There is a bus stop for the local bus
located right in front of the entrance gate of the villa.
The property, recently restored, has two separate, self-contained
units which, if rented jointly, offer exclusivity to the entire
premises. The villa is decorated with impeccable taste and offers every
modern amenity, combining interior luxury with al fresco beauty.
Main Villa: this is larger and more luxurious than the guests villa and is located directly at poolside. 4 steps down from the entrance is the living/dining room
with tiled floor, well furnished with a round wooden table, 2
armchairs, and a fireplace. The lounge, 4 steps further down, is
comfortably furnished with sofas and a TV. The interiors are elegantly
furnished and from here the guests can directly access the pool. The
small kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, 5-range stovetop,
oven, microwave, refrigerator, and freezer. 18 steps up from the living
room lead to the two bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms (one with
shower and one with shower and bathtub). The two double bedrooms have
bedside tables, dressers, closets, and a TV. There is also a bathroom
with bathtub and panoramic windows. The second double bedroom with an
iron bed head and built-in closet, TV, and en-suite bathroom with a
glass shower box is located 4 steps up from the first bedroom.
Outdoor. The wonderful terrace-garden to one side of the villa has an
elegant lounge area, an open-air kitchen, a gazebo with dining table to
eat ‘al fresco’, and an unusually shaped swimming pool. The terrace is
planted with high palm trees, potted flowers, and natural vegetation,
which create an even more private setting. The terrace is the perfect
place to host a party or external dinner. It boasts some of the most
panoramic views on the whole island. There is also a nice, irregular
shaped swimming pool (7 x 3 x 1 meter) bordered by 4 comfortable lounge
chairs, sun umbrellas, and large outdoor dining area for 8.
DISTANCES: Capri centre is less than a mile; Anacapri: 3 miles; Naples: 70 minutes by boat (less with hydrofoil).
