Villa Paradiso - Jamaica description
Villa Paradiso, newly constructed in 2006, is situated on a spectacular glistening white sand beach with 150 feet of its own beach frontage with in the gated community of Mammee Bay Estates. Surrounded by 1.75 acres of lush tropical gardens and lawns the villa comprises a large main house with 5 bedrooms and a separate 2 bedroom cottage as well as an eighth bedroom in a pool cottage.
The villa has 7,000 square feet and a large 63 ft. verandah leading onto the pool and terrace which has a superb panoramic view overlooking the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea.
A spectacular home, it is only 10 minutes from Ocho Rios and its attractions, Dunn's River Falls and Dolphin Cove.
Entrance is through an large foyer which leads into the elegantly furnished, two story 45 foot vaulted ceiling living room. French doors open from the living room to the covered verandah and gorgeous ocean views.
Located off the living room is the indoor formal dining room furnished with Colonial mahogany pieces and this first floor has two spacious bedrooms, one of which opens to the pool.
The 63 foot covered first floor verandah fronts onto the pool terrace and overlooks the Caribbean Sea and white sand beach. Comfortable seating and a separate dining area create a relaxing atmosphere for outdoor activities.
The second floor has three of the villa's bedrooms, two of which boast private seaside balconies. A spacious family room is located on this upper level as well and overlooks the main floor. It is nicely and comfortably furnished and well equipped with TV, DVD, CDs computer with high speed internet access as well as a small library.
A separate air-conditioned gym has table tennis, treadmill, weights, stationary bike and exercise ball.
A games room fronts onto both the beach and pool terrace. It is nicely equipped with air-hockey, computer (with Internet), TV and Nintendo Game Cube.
The expansive pool terrace, with its 25 x 40 foot fresh water pool, gazebo and separate whirlpool all overlook the spectacular 150 feet of white sand beach and turquoise waters of the Caribbean. The view looks out towards the village of Ocho Rios and mountains beyond.
The self contained two bedroom cottage is a short stroll (20 yards) from the main house and has two bedrooms, a bathroom, sitting room and a small kitchen which is nice for nighttime refreshments or early morning coffee. The sitting room has a TV, DVDS and Wii games and is ideal for the younger guests to play.
The eighth bedroom is in the Pool Cottage which opens to the pool and beach.
Villa Paradiso is staffed with 5 highly trained members including a housekeeper, cook, houseman, chambermaid/laundress and gardener.
The villa has a two person ocean kayak and the waters are ideal. Water sports such as parasailing, scuba diving, jet skiing and sailing are available at the Riu Hotel, a 3 minute walk down the beach.
Please note: Complimentary use of a 21 seater passenger van with a JUTA approved driver for rentals of 1 week or more is included with rental. The van service would be for 8 hours per day and include one round trip airport transfer, local trips (Ocho Rios/Runaway Bay/Discovery Bay) and one long trip anywhere on the island. One tank of gas is provided complimentary.

All of the bedrooms in the main house are air-conditioned and have spacious closets, hardwood floors and en-suite baths.
First Floor
Bedroom 1 - King bedroom with access to poolside terrace.
Bedroom 2 - 2 Twin beds and single daybed.
Second Floor
Bedroom 3 - Master bedroom with King 4 poster bed and large balcony overlooking the sea. This double size bedroom has walk in closet and large full bathroom (separate tub and shower)
Bedroom 4 - King bedroom with large seaside balcony.
Bedroom 5 - 2 Twin beds with single daybed sofa.
Cottage:
Bedrooms 6 and 7 share the living room and bathroom. The cottage bedrooms are both air conditioned and have ceiling fans.
Bedroom 6 - 2 Twin beds opening into a shared living room.
Bedroom 7 - Double bedroom opening into a shared living room.
