Villa Mahita Jimbaran is a sophisticated three-bedroom retreat located in the hilly Goa Gong, Jimbaran area on Bali's southern peninsula. The property is part of an exclusive residential enclave that is elevated high to capture sweeping views over Jimbaran Bay and the silhouette of Mount Agung in the distance.
Villa Mahita takes tropical living to the next level through its stylish design and decor. A generously sized open-plan space incorporates a contemporary kitchen facility, elegant hardwood dining table and a casual lounge area.
There is also a more formal sitting room with customized furnishings and unique artworks. Positioned next to the pool, this air-conditioned environment is enclosed by full-length glass panels providing 180-degree views over the island and beyond.
Almost all of Villa Mahita's outdoor area is taken up by the glistening waters of an infinity edge swimming pool. There is also a compact Jacuzzi shaded by a mature frangipani tree and a timber deck to soak up the sun.
Villa Mahita is part of a gated community that has around the clock security guards posted at the entrance. The villa easily identified in the complex by its front planter boxes bursting with colorful bougainvillea's.
LIVING AREAS
The interior is handsomely decorated, with a wall of Thai silk panels, an antique hand-woven songket and an eclectic collection of oceanic curios. Looking out onto stellar ocean views, glass doors can be closed for air-conditioned comfort or thrown open for sea-breeze-cooled dining.
Dining room
Lying at the heart of Villa Mahita is the Dining Room. Served at a stately teakwood table for 10 people oriented towards the ocean view. A dining table with comfy batik-cushioned rattan armchairs encourages social breakfasts and candlelit dinners.
Living room
Living room Located next to the swimming pool. This highly sociable space is open on two sides oriented towards the ocean view. Walls feature panels of tropical wood carved with ancient tales of Ramayana, and prized ethnic artefacts are artfully dotted around the spac Wooden blinds veil or reveal the ocean and garden beyond, and the butler is on hand to serve drinks. glass doors can be closed for air-conditioned comfort or thrown open for sea-breeze.
TV room
The entertainment/TV room is located in between dining room and living room. The room is equipped with a ceiling fan, teak wall units, and a large satellite TV, complete with surround sound, a DVD/CD player, and a Wii Game System. The furnishings a set of large sofas, a glass-topped antique coffee table. Glass doors open from the TV room onto Living room give access driect to jacuzzy and swimming pool.
BEDROOMS
Three tastefully appointed double bedrooms have been created for optimal privacy. Each is an adult sanctuary with an earthy color palette to soothe the senses and evoke nights of restful slumber. Each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom for couples to take pleasure in spa-inspired bathing indulgence. There is a separate rain shower as well as a freestanding bathtub to soak away all traces of stress and travel tension.
Mahita Suite 1
A striking contemporary canvas commands attention in the beautifully furnished suite, which offers such stunning views beyond its sliding glass doors to the ocean that the satellite TV and DVD player may not get much use! Beyond the dressing area is a huge bathroom with hamam-style bathtub. Each bedroom has its own bathroom.
Mahita Suite 2 & 3
The two guest bedrooms in the house are simply furnished, their focus being on the mediterranian style. Both have direct access to the living room and dining room. Each room have their own private bathroom with haman style bathtub.
THE LOCALE
From its breathtaking cliff-top position on the Bali's Bukit Peninsula, The Mahita gazes westwards across an endless expanse of ocean the views are simply breathtaking. Padang Padang beach and other equally well known beaches are a short drive away. Golfers have the choice of two golf courses on The Bukit, and for a glimpse of Bali's unique culture and religion, look no further than Pura Luhur Uluwatu, one of the island's most spectacular sea temples, just a step drive from The Mahita.
