Villa dei Cipressi description
In an enviable setting on a hillside in the Madonie National Park, overlooking the dramatic northern Sicilian coastline and Cefalu, Villa dei Cipressi is for those who appreciate spectacular scenery, sea views and mountain trails from the privacy of a beautiful villa with infinity pool.
The villa has been cleverly designed on different levels, with a choice of large terraces for dining and relaxing. Updated carefully over the years, the villa retains its original character and charm. A mix of traditional wooden furniture and furnishings with colourful fabrics and different textures give the villa a rustic style while the white walls, terracotta floor tiles and wooden beamed ceilings retain a light and airy feel.
The traditional Mediterranean kitchen incorporates up to date equipment, contrasting wooden cupboards with brightly coloured floor tiles and large windows overlooking the terraced garden. French windows open out from the spacious sitting room to a large shaded dining terrace with outdoor kitchen complete with a pizza oven for long summer lunches overlooking the sea. On the same level there are two bedrooms, one double and one twin, each with their own bathrooms. Down a few steps is another double bedroom with its own bathroom and direct access to a terrace and infinity pool. Ideal for any guests who appreciate privacy, there is also a separate self-contained annexe for two.
Walking trails run directly from the garden giving guests the chance to explore the Madonie National Park, while the delights of Cefalu are an easy drive away.
Accommodation: Kitchen, sitting room/dining area with glass sliding doors leading out to a shaded dining terrace and outside kitchen, one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, each with a bathroom en suite. Down steps to a double bedroom with a bathroom and direct access to a terrace and swimming pool. Separate access to an annexe with a sitting room, kitchenette, a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower.
