This unique house combines the antique colonial-style of high ceilings,
exposed brick walls, beautiful tiling and arches with the modern
amenities and style of a boutique hotel. The common areas are airy and
open while the six bedrooms provide privacy and a cool retreat from the
hot Cartagena days. When you do want to leave the house, many
restaurants and much of the best nightlife in downtown Cartagena is on
Calle Arsenal a few blocks away. The famous clock tower and historic
muralla (the wall surrounding the city center) are a ten minute walk
away.
The house revolves around the elegant pool stretching the length of the
property. In the entry area is the spacious, full-equipped kitchen that
opens to the pool area. Opening off of this entry area is the huge
dining room with a long table that can accommodate the whole group with
room to spare. Open the windows to the street while enjoying group
dinners to hear the sounds of Cartagena in the evening. All four
bedrooms are ensuite and open to the pool area. The custom lighting
shows off the elegant high ceilings and tile detailing.
The price includes cleaning as well as breakfast and lunch preparation from the in house cook. Groceries are not included.

200-year-old buildings into privately-owned boutique hotels and killer
nightclubs. With so much to do and see in this part of the city, it's
easy to fall in love with the charm and style of Getsemani. Stroll up
and down the colorful streets or rent a bike and enjoy the Old-World
architecture and warm weather all year long.
