Sun-Drenched Beach House description
Enjoy this beautiful 1950’s Spanish-style beach house and free-standing studio (a total of 3 bedrooms, 2 baths), and lovely private and gated yard and patio for grilling and lounging. Five minutes to Solana Beach’s cool Cedros Design District, 20 minutes to LEGOLAND, 30 minutes to downtown San Diego.
INSIDE THE HOUSE
Calming white and blues soothe the senses inside this house. Unwind in the bright and inviting living room furnished with 3 couches and a 60” flat-screen. The kitchen/dining area is brimming with natural light. Take advantage of the modern appliances and ample counter space.
The peaceful master bedroom includes a sumptuous California king with pristine white bedding. A pretty pedestal sink, shower/tub combo, and pink tile flooring outfit the bath. The 2nd bedroom has 2 twin beds.
In the back, a free-standing studio with private entry is ideal for teenagers or grandparents. Here, you'll find a king-size bed, 40" flat-screen TV with cable, armoire and a kitchenette with microwave, small fridge and gas stove. A full bathroom has a standing shower, and a ceiling fan cools this space down on warm nights.
THE LOCATION
You're steps from Tide Park, where you can explore the tide pools, walk the sandy beach, and enjoy majestic sunsets. (Tide Park is very popular spot for surfers.) Once you return to the house, there is an outdoor hot/cold shower to wash the sand away.
The house is 3 small blocks from Historic Highway 101—walking distance to many restaurants and shops, including Pizza Port Solana Beach for fresh pies and craft brews, Sushi Station, Java Depot, Roberto’s Mexican Food, and much more. You’re a 5-minute walk to Solana Beach Train Station, which offers routes south to San Diego or north to Oceanside, Anaheim, Los Angeles, and beyond—up and down the California Coast.
Encinitas is just north of Solana Beach with many restaurants and shops, plus Whole Foods and Seaside Market. Del Mar is the next town south of Solana Beach with the renowned Del Mar Race Tracks, open from July to September, and Del Mar Fair from June to July 4th. Del Mar has many restaurants and shops, as well.
Head to Torrey Pines State Reserve—just 5 miles away—for spectacular views and hikes. Play a round at Torrey Pines Golf Course and be sure to visit La Jolla Shores and Birch Aquarium.
