Spyglass Hill - Jamaica description
Spyglass Hill is a original plantation house located on 10 lush acres of abundant gardens. This Jamaican Plantation house is spacious at 7,000 sq feet and offers panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea, the plantation, the Great River ravine and views of nearby Montego Bay.
Spyglass Hill is a large estate property and comprises 8 bedrooms and 3 swimming pools (large main pool, children's wading pool and plunge pool).
The main plantation house offers spectacular views of the surrounding landscape. It consists of four bedrooms, four baths, a spacious living room, hand-painted dining room, large state of the art kitchen, spacious verandahs and the main and the main, private swimming pool (20' x 40'). All of the bedrooms are air-conditioned with en-suite baths and cable TVs.
The other bedrooms are scattered about the compound in charming hideaways called the Tree House (with 1 bedroom, the Garden Room (with 1 bedroom) and the River House (with two bedrooms).
The separate River House is a short walk across the lawn from the main house and nestled among the vegetation. Stone steps lead down behind a wooden gate to the very private River House. It's a two level suite with its own 10' x 13' plunge pool and sea view. The upper level has a bedroom with a queen sized bed, cable TV, ceiling fan and air-conditioning. It, also, has en-suite bath with a walk in shower. The lower level has a bedroom with a king sized bed, cable TV, ceiling fan (no ac-although fairly cool from the breezes from the adjacent valley). The lower level bedroom has an en-suite bath as well with a walk in shower.
The Tree House is named after the large tree nestled by it. It consists of an elevated private en-suite room with views of the ocean and surrounding grounds. It is furnished with a queen sized bed, ceiling fan, air-conditioning and cable TV. It has an en-suite bath with a walk in shower.
Cool and contemporary furnishings mix with brightly colored artwork and dramatic touches.
The other bedrooms are scattered about the compound in charming hideaways called the Tree House (with 1 bedroom, the Garden Room (with 1 bedroom) and the River House (with two bedrooms).
Recreational amenities include a thatched roof gazebo with table tennis, ceiling fans and light for night play.
