Shangri La description
Appropriately named, the Shangri La villa is an extraordinary home. Located behind gates and across from the Polo Field, the villa showcases Spanish influences.
The property is lush with tropical trees and flowers of every kind. The home features stunning ocean views. For some history, the villa was built by Harry Llewellyn a famous equestrian whose son was engaged to Princess Margaret who stayed at the villa on numerous occasions so the Princess Margaret room is devoted to her.
The home is all on one level and provides expansive spaces that are well furnished. The main living area is distinguished with chandeliers, tray ceilings and comfortable furnishings. Mahogany doors open and lead to the courtyard complete with a coral fountain. Just beyond are the sundeck and private swimming pool.
The interiors boast an enjoyable living area as well as a well equipped media room.
Additionally, there are four air-conditioned four bedrooms which are charmingly named by their decor such as the White Room, Polo Room, Princess Margaret Room as well as the Master Suite.
Outside, guests will enjoy the shaded verandah, sun bathing patio and private swimming pool.
