private estate, this luxury Phuket vacation rental offers a beautiful,
quiet setting inside and out, but is still within walking distance of
two beaches and a short drive from the area’s top must-sees. A full
staff and three suite-style bedrooms ensure a comfortable stay for a
family or small group of friends.
Your stay at Sammasan includes the services of a housekeeper
and property manager, and Thai or Western meals from a chef. Spend your
holiday soaking in the tropical sun from the sleek white lounge
furniture beside the infinity pool overlooking Surin Bay, or reading and
napping in the shade of the sala on the pool terrace. Connect to your
media and to friends back home with the villa’s iPod dock and Wi-Fi, and
if you’re traveling with children, keep them comfortable and safe with
the baby cot, high chair and toddler gates.
With a wall of windows that fronts the great room and opens to the
terrace, the villa almost feels like your own treehouse. The playful
mood is enhanced by bright contemporary artwork, a red pouf and a
candy-striped rug that are paired with chocolate leather chairs and a
sofa in the sitting area. Across the white floor, you’ll find the
vibrant dining area, with built-in bookshelves, a quirky metal-topped
table and colorful mod-Scandinavian pendant lights. The fully equipped
kitchen echoes the dining area’s lights and seating, but in pared-down
white.
Each of the three bedrooms at Sammasan has an en-suite bathroom
and views of the bay. The master bedroom, which takes up the villa’s
entire second floor, has a king bed, jetted tub and private balcony. The
other two bedrooms, set on a lower level below the main floor, feature
steam showers and have a queen bed, and two twin beds and a rollout bed,
respectively.
If you’re on vacation with family, there’s plenty in the area to
delight kids and adults alike, from the nearby mini-golf course at
Bangtao Beach and horse and elephant rides, shopping and dining at the
Laguna complex to the deli and restaurant just around the corner. If
you’re traveling with friends, ask about booking a member rate for golf
at the Blue Canyon Country Club or do some shopping at the Surin Plaza
boutique mall. On a romantic getaway or honeymoon, stroll along
glamorous Surin Beach, a 10-minute walk away, stop at one of the chic
beach clubs or sit down to dinner at your choice of the oceanfront
restaurants. At the end of your stay, plan on a 14-mile drive from Sammasan to Phuket International Airport.
