Rafters description
Rafters enjoys an enviable location in the elegant Old Leeward Development. The villa is positioned on an acre of lushly tropical landscaping with views of the canal and has an 80' dock with ramp access.
Built on two levels, the villa is spacious and well appointed. A Great Room is located on the main floor and features graceful arches that define the area. Comfortably furnished, it features an entertainment center with a 50" TV and full music system. Of special note is that all rooms, both inside and outside, are connected for sound and individually controlled. Within the Great Room is the indoor dining area as well as the kitchen. For those that like to cook and entertain, the kitchen is enormous and very well equipped with all of the bells and whistles to include a side-by-side refrigerator, ice maker, dishwasher, microwave/convection oven and glasstop cooktop. Double sinks look out toward the canal.
There are 6 bedrooms and 5.5 baths. Rafters has a main level bedroom that is wheelchair accessible with an en-suite bathroom. Three of the bedrooms have king-sized beds and the other three offer the option of either two twins or they can be made up as kings as well. Some of the bedrooms offer en-suite bathrooms with showers and the master boasts a large Jacuzzi tub. In addition to the six bedrooms, the villa has an office that can accommodate two additional guests with prior authorization and additional beds may also be placed into two of the upstairs guest rooms.
Massive glass doors open dramatically from the Great Room to the outdoor deck and pool area. The private swimming pool is extremely large and set on a tiled deck. To enhance the experience, there is a spacious outdoor open area kitchen complete with gas grill, fridge and a table for alfresco dining.
Private balconies on the second level of the villa reveal views of the neighboring cays.
The house is well positioned to be cooled by the Leeward trade winds, but air-conditioning is available at cost.
