neighborhood. Just on the other side of the inlet from Marina del Rey,
Playa del Rey has a wonderfully quiet beach town feel. Less trafficked
than the adjacent South Bay neighborhoods of Manhattan Beach, Hermosa,
and Redondo Beaches and far more quiet than Venice, Santa Monica, and
Marina del Rey, Playa is a lovely little area with up and coming bars
and restaurants, park, and beautiful beaches. It is also conveniently
located next to the only bonfire beach in LA, Dockweiler. Only 10
minutes from LAX airport, 10 minutes from the world famous Manhattan
Beach, 20 minutes to Santa Monica and 30 minutes to Hollywood/Downtown
LA.
