Plenty of space, a convenient location and designed with good taste in mind is just some of what the Mountain Chalet can boast of. Located on highway two this beautiful chalet is situated halfway between the snowy slopes of Stevens Pass and our beautiful Bavarian village of Leavenworth. Whether skis or shopping are the draw, you can easily find a place to play here. Partially fenced and gated in the front, and sides, you get a clear view of the river below (home situated on high bank) You can spend your evenings listening to the rushing waters or the sound of the train passing nearby on one of its daily commutes.
Perfectly designed for large groups, three stories and plenty of beds make sure everyone has a place to stay. Headed east on highway two you will turn into the driveway of this classic home. A gate keeps pets and kids secure on the front and sides of the home. The backside is open to overlook the high riverbank. (Extreme caution is needed here due to steep incline). Up the steps to the front door you will enter in the great room. A galley kitchen with plenty of granite countertops and stainless steel appliances makes it easy to serve up a meal for crowd. A refrigerator, electric range/over, microwave, dishwasher, double sinks and coffee pot make it easy to get comfy here. The long, rustic dining table comfortably seats 10 with several extra seats located at the breakfast bar. Windows span two stories to keep this living space airy and bright. The adjoining living room has a microfiber sectional and leather loveseat recliner and two armchairs tucked to the side. A gas fireplace will warm you up on those cooler winter nights and a flat screen TV is perfect for watching a family film to finish a great day. On the main floor, you will find a full-sized bathroom with shower/tub and two sinks perfect for getting reading. A washer and dryer are available in the hall for keeping your laundry up on vacation. A private bedroom is located here with a queen bed, brand new furniture and a unique rustic style headboard.
Upstairs you will end the open loft area, the perfect reading nook for catching up on that New York Time’s bestseller. You can stretch out on the double futon or curl up on the swivel chair, whatever it takes to get comfortable. A bathroom with a bathtub (no standing shower), sink and toilet surrounded by subway tile accents. A large bedroom with 1 king and 1 queen bed. A twin sized day bed can also be found here. All beds have brand new bed sets and pillows perfect for a good night’s sleep. A walk-in closet provides extra linens and ironing supplies.
Make your way down the stairs to the basement level for even more entertainment space. Two sofas and a loveseat provide plenty of comfortable seating for all and you cannot help but marvel at the beauty of the unique custom coffee table. A flat screen TV with speakers, DVD player and gas fireplace are provided. Two more private bedrooms are just off the living area. The first one has a double and a twin bed with closet. The second has a queen with TV and VCR and another closet.
Outside you can relax under the stars in the private covered hot tub with your loved ones or gather around the fire pit to tell stories long into the night. No matter what brought you to the Mountain Chalet to begin with, it is the memories that will make you want to keep coming back
