Molino Santa Lucia description
This lovely property is located in the countryside, only 5 kms from the center of San Gimignano famous for its beautiful towers. The area is very well known for its unspoiled beauty and is a perfect base for exploring Tuscany. "Molinoa Sana Lucia" is located in a quiet rural setting. This property, built in the 18th Century, was once a mill that has been recently bought and converted by a Scottish architect. He has restored it maintaining a pleasant contrast between the wonderful antique brick vaulted ceilings and the contemporary design of the furniture and interior. There is a walled garden with terraces, a 11x6m swimming pool and 5 acres of grounds including a waterfall and mill pond. The one-mile drive is not suitable for cars with low suspension or for nervous drivers. A chef, heating and telephone available for an additional charge. There is deposit upon check-in of 250 Euros for the telephone. All of these 'a la carte" services are paid locally with Euros and the prices are subject to change. This house accommodates up to 8 people maximum. A two week stay is preferred, however the owner may accept one week at his discretion.
