Mezzola description
Mezzola is a typical stone-built Tuscan farmhouse, located on an estate producing Chianti wine, only 1 km from Cerbaia and 18 kms from the centre of Florence. Until last year, it was the home of the owner, an antique dealer, who restored and furnished it for family use. The interiors of the house are very comfortable and furnished with antiques. The living area is particularly spacious, with a big living room and kitchen, opening to a furnished courtyard where outdoor meals can be enjoyed.
The location of the house is ideal for exploring the surrounding Chianti area. Also, as it is less than ten minutes from the two highways connecting Florence to Siena and Pisa, it is possible to visit these wonderful Tuscan cities in less than one hour's drive. A chef, heating and telephone available for an additional charge. There is deposit upon check-in of 250 Euros for the telephone. Extra maid service is 13 Euros per hour. All of these 'a la carte' services are paid locally with Euros and subject to change. This house sleeps up to 10 people. A two week stay is preferred, however the owner may accept one week at his discretion.
Ground Floor:
Entrance hall; large sitting room with fireplace; dining room with fireplace; billiard room with fireplace; guest-bathroom; kitchen opening onto the front courtyard furnished for eating outside; double bedroom with en-suite bathroom (shower only) and sitting area.
First Floor:
Double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and dressing room with single bed; twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom; 2 double bedrooms; bathroom. On this floor there is a small bridge connecting to the back garden where the pool is situated.
