Little Sab (LSB) description
More of a garden cottage than a lavish estate, Villa Little Sab (LSB) is proof positive that a St. Barth vacation does not have to be larger than life. The compact villa gives guests an intimate version of the carefree island living for which the Caribbean is so beloved. But although it is not large, the rental home is certainly luxurious, designed to make the most of space and keep guests comfortable. That said, anyone who settles in here is unlikely to spend too much time in the house, because it is built on private property directly across the street from the Tom Beach Hotel and popular La Plage restaurant, as well as St. Jean Beach you can get to the beach or to brunch without even putting on shoes.
Villa Little Sab is also more versatile than its layout implies. By itself, its dreamy for honeymooners or any couple wanting a romantic getaway, a private cocoon surrounded by leafy trees with views that are tapestries of green. But it can also be rented together with Villa Le Sab (SAB), with which it shares the same understated design DNA and easy Caribbean elegance, right next door. That turns this garden hideaway for two into a mini compound for couples traveling together or families with children (10 and up).
Villa Little Sab itself is lovely and straightforward, with a combination bedroom/sitting room where the floor, bed, walls and couch are all soothing white, and a sliding glass door runs the length of one wall. A bathroom is tucked behind one of the corners. The well-stocked kitchen is ample enough for everyday cooking, and both open onto a covered terrace with a dining table a nice spot for breakfast to the sound of birdsong.
