La Bella description
La Bella Villa is a unique hand-crafted home made of island stone and masonry. It has a gorgeous view of Coral Bay and of beautiful Bordeaux Mountain. The house focuses on the Coral Bay view: its 12 by 40 foot long covered porch invites comfortable outside living. The house itself has all the character and warmth of a traditional Caribbean home, yet it is modern, well equipped, clean, and comfortable. Romantics will adore this picturesque and idyllic home.
La Bella Villa is the very definition of a charming, romantic, Caribbean-styled villa. This villa has it all. Because of its quietness, fine appointments, and unique Caribbean style, La Bella Villa is one of the most sought after homes on St. John for friends and families looking for adventure or for honeymooners and lovers looking for a quiet retreat.
The living room is furnished with traditional Caribbean furniture. With vaulted ceilings, ceiling fans, tiled floors and Caribbean art, it has a relaxing and inviting interior. For your entertainment, a British Colonial-style armoire houses a TV, DVD/VCR, cable, and a stereo with a CD player. A nice collection of movies and CDs is available for guests’ pleasure. The sofa – a sleeper sofa – and chair are covered in a colorful island print fabric.
Opening from the pool deck, the kitchen is a NEFF custom kitchen featuring a granite sink and concrete counters. It is modern and fully equipped with a gas stove and oven, microwave, blender, toaster, coffeemaker, and abundant new cookware, dinnerware, and glassware.
Beautiful wooden jalousie doors open to the 500 square foot deck with a fabulous view of Coral Bay. The porch has a wooden table which seats 6 for relaxed, al fresco dining. A comfy sofa and wicker rocking chairs make the porch an outdoor living room, cooled by breezes from Coral Bay and by ceiling fans.
Behind a Caribbean stone wall and next to the villa, La Bella Villa’s pool deck provides the perfect place for enjoying St. John’s sun and the views of Coral Bay and Bordeaux Mountain. The fresh water outdoor pool has ready access to a shower from the deck area as well as an entrance to the kitchen. With lounge chairs, a table and umbrella for reading by the pool, beach towels, and a nearby gas grill, you have all the comforts for an afternoon in the sun. We also provide beach chairs and a cooler for beach outings.
La Bella Villa sleeps 4 comfortably in its two bedrooms, and has a queen-sized sleeper sofa in the living room for up to 2 more. The master bedroom features a romantic, British Colonial king-sized four-poster bed with luxurious linens, sconce lights above the bed, mahogany closets, a floor mirror, ceiling fans for a comfortable breeze, and views through jalousie screened doors onto the porch and to Coral Bay itself. The master bath has a full, island style, walk-in tiled shower, footed sink, and comfortable privacy.
The second bedroom features a queen-sized bed as well as palm tree lamps on mahogany night stands. Overlooking the pool and with windows on three sides, this charming bedroom also features luxurious linens, Caribbean art, a ceiling fan for a cool breeze, and mahogany doors and window shutters. The bathroom boasts an outside shower…with privacy provided by a striking Caribbean stone rounded wall…as well as other more traditional bathroom amenities. Each bathroom has a hair dryer; bath towels and beach towels are provided.
