Resort on the Big Island of Hawaii, this luxury vacation rental looks
over the ninth fairway of the Jack Nicklaus course to the blue waters of
the Pacific Ocean. Bring up to six friends or family members to bask on
the terrace, play a round or several, or stretch out on the beaches of
the Kona-Kohala coast.

Read in the shade, or bask in a lounger in the sun. Swim in the private
stone-set infinity pool, soak in the hot tub after a day on the golf
course and try out local seafood on the gas grill before sitting down to
the al-fresco dining area. In the evenings, immerse yourself in one of
the 3D TVs or play an old favorite on the grand piano. For an additional
fee, villa guests can also access the amenities at the Four Seasons
Hualalai Resort, from the sports club, spa, and beach and pool services
to the ocean activity center and tennis and kids’ clubs.
Step through the villa’s palm-lined courtyard and into a bright,
open-plan space that’s filled with warm breezes from a glass wall
opening to the lanai. Sand-colored sofas and chairs form an inviting
sitting area, while refined bamboo chairs can seat eight around a
glass-topped dining table. Prepare a casual breakfast or luau-worthy
feast in the fully equipped kitchen, which has sleek wood cabinetry,
trendy black countertops and gourmet appliances.
Each of the villa’s three bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom and opens
to the courtyard. The master suite, perfect for a romantic getaway or
even a tropical honeymoon, has a king bed, walk-in closet and jetted
tub, and each of the other two bedrooms has a queen bed. Neutral tones
give the bedrooms a soft, serene feel, letting the bold greens and blues
of the landscape outside be the focus.
Your stay at Joy's Estate includes the use of two
four-person golf carts, making it easy to explore. But you’ll only need
your sandals to reach the oceanfront amenities at the Hualalai Beach
Resort, a 5-minute walk from the villa. Discover Hawaiian cuisine or
browse for the perfect souvenir in the restaurants and shops at the
Waikoloa Beach Resort, a 15-minute drive away. At the end of your
holiday, plan on a 10-minute drive to Kona International Airport.
