Jasmin Hill description
Jasmin Hill Villa is a lovely home located directly on the ocean in Ocho Rios.
This classic stucco and wooden shingle roof home was originally constructed in the 1940's but has been completely remodeled to reflect its past history and add modern amenities. The extra large, four plus acre lot includes over 200 feet of ocean front. Jasmin Hill is surrounded on all sides by lush tropical gardens and jungle. The villa is within walking distance to Sandals Ocho Rios and approximately one mile east of downtown Ocho Rios.
The original main house features very spacious rooms with either hardwood or ceramic tile floors. The main house is filled with English antique, books and original art work and the living room overlooks the ocean, pool and side courtyard.
The home is filled with fine furniture, original artwork and unique details. A well tuned Yamaha upright piano is located in the entrance room. Lush gardens or ocean surround Jasmin Hill with spectacular views from all rooms.
Dining may be enjoyed on the new, expansive verandah facing either the ocean or pool, in the courtyard garden or in the indoor private dining room.
The villa is extremely spacious and comfortable and has 6 bedrooms that are stylishly decorated. The main house was built in the 1940s and has 3 bedrooms. A lovely 1 bedroom master suite is located privately in the nearby Pool Cottage with a terrace overlooking the pool and the new 2 bedroom garden Rosebud Cottage.
The villa, also, includes a large spring water swimming pool. A new wrap around covered verandah is ideal for morning breakfast or evening cocktails. Ocean swimming is especially wonderful from the Jasmin Hill dock. Stone steps meander down to the crystal clear water and sandy bottom. A wonderful coral reef perfect for snorkeling is located about 50 yards off shore.
Jasmin Hill is built on two levels and has six bedrooms all with air-conditioning and private bathrooms. The bedrooms have been redecorated recently and have very large ceiling fans. Each bedroom offers spectacular views of the ocean or lush gardens that surround the villa.
The villa is fully staffed with a superb Caribbean chef, butler, an optional van driver, a housekeeper, laundress and a gardener. The driver lives on the property in separate staff area.

Bedroom 1
The master bedroom is 17' x 30' and located on the upper level. It features a four poster kind sized bed and has windows on three sides as well as a private covered balcony overlooking the ocean.

Bedroom 2
Located on the upper level, it is 14' x 15' and has a king sized bed as well and a private balcony overlooking the swimming pool and ocean.
Private bath.
Bedroom 3
Located downstairs, the room is 16' x 23' and has queen sized bed and there is the option of having an additional twin bed.
Private bath.
Pool Cottage Suite:
Bedroom 4
King sized bed and double French doors open to a private porch overlooking the pool and ocean. The suite is fully air-conditioned.
Private bathroom with walk in shower.
**Please note that this bedroom is only available at the 4 bedroom rate.
Rosebud Cottage:
A new 2-bedroom cottage was added in 2014 to bring the total bedroom accommodations up to 6.
The cottage is charming and is a beautiful garden retreat.
Each of the two bedrooms is air-conditioned and has it's own en-suite bathroom.
**There is a lovely outdoor private shower that can be shared by both bedrooms.
