Isolana description
The island called Favignana is a nature reserve characterized by bays with crystalline waters and a fishing village, offering shops and cozy restaurants where to enjoy the excellent Sicilian cuisine. The island is almost flat, crossed by narrow roads, an ideal place for soft bike riders.
At a 5 minutes distance from the center of Favignana, villa Isolana is the perfect setting for a luxury holiday in total relaxation. The design of the villa, together with its private fenced in Mediterranean garden, intersects with the wild Mediterranean nature offering a piece of paradise for its absolute comfort: air conditioning in all the rooms, and wifi inside the villa and in the garden area.
The house is composed of two separated units: the main house and a guest house. The villa has been built with the sandstone, a typical rock of the Sicilian coastline.
The color of the walls is perfectly integrated with the colors of the landscape. At a 500 meters distance there is a beach with rocks, while at a 5 minutes bike ride you can find a sandy beach called Cala Rossa, a little bay with transparent turquoise sea water. A beach club is at a 10 minutes drive by car or by bike.
Favignana Aegusa called by the Romans (Pliny 23-79 AD) is an enchanting place rich of myths, where the extraordinary light gives intense color to the landscape, and caressed by warm breezes from Africa. It is possible to explore the superb natural beauty of the coasts renting the boat of 11 meters belonging to the villa owner (together with a skipper), or renting a little boat at the village.
The island is flat, so it's perfect for soft bike riders and has various white sandy beaches and spectacular coves to discover. The pool is at a 50 meters distance from the villa.
