Hawaii - Big Island - 3bedroom Piko. Hawaii

Hawaii - Big Island - 3bedroom Piko description

"Hilltop Beauty"- Sits high on a knoll at the very top of O'oma
Plantation, a newer subdivision of 19 estate-sized, 2-acre parcels.
This quiet, supremely private home is perfect for a serene getaway.

The elegantly finished interior of the home has high-ceilings, granite
counter tops throughout, and polished travertine flooring. This tropical
escape allows you to open the home and transition from indoor comfort
to sunny Kona outdoor beauty. Enter this 3000
square foot retreat from a tropical courtyard and through the marble
tiled foyer. The 14 feet wide pocket doors can be opened to welcome the
cool Hawaiian breeze into the home and a truly spectacular ocean view
past the lush landscape and waterfall pool. The
house does not come equipped with air conditioning, but the elevation
allows for the ocean breeze to cool the home.

The bedrooms on the north side of the home opens out onto one ocean view
lanai, while the spacious master suite wing on the south side of the
home opens out onto the ocean view lanai right next to the pool. The
master bedroom has a private breakfast nook which
could be used as your Hawaiian satellite office during your vacation.
All three bedrooms have their own flat screen TV and ensuite bathrooms.

This home includes a rock water feature that cascades next to the spa
tub and ocean-view pool. The custom lava rock waterfall flows into the
refreshing pool which faces directly to the Kona coastline. The pool is
not heated, but the refreshing waters offer
a cool escape from the Kona heat. Of course, you may also take a dip in
the hot tub, which will heat four hours in the morning and an
additional four hours in the evening.

Enjoy the views of this working coffee farm. Look beyond the lawn over
the gently sloping land below, to the coffee orchard. The yard includes
lush grass wrapped around the home as well as tropical fruit trees
(mango, avocado, papaya, lychee and assorted citrus).

This house sits north of Kona Hills, but hidden away below the highway
away from all traffic. There is quick and easy access to downtown
Kailua-Kona, Honokohau Harbor, the airport and Kona-Kohala resorts.

If you are seeking local markets and historical context, downtown
Kailua-Kona is approximately a 15 minute drive for easy access to
shopping, businesses, waterfront restaurants and hotels. Watch the
people and the cruise ships come and go from the Kailua Pier.
Visit the famous Farmer's Market. Enjoy a shave ice or a cup of Kona
coffee, have a light snack or a gourmet meal, buy an inexpensive
souvenir or a piece of fine art, book an activity, go for a swim or hang
out on the many beautiful beaches.

Up the coast is a busy marina with Hawaii's best scuba diving, big-game
fishing, kayaking, dolphin and whale watching and other ocean
activities. Piko Nani is conveniently located, a great home base to
explore the many wonders of the Big Island including Volcano
National Park, Mauna Kea Observatory, coffee and macadamia nut farms,
artist communities, and more!
