This 3BR, 2BA Boothbay farmhouse is walking distance to the ocean, kayaking, nature trails, and a short drive to dining. There’s a small meditation structure, perfect for yoga. Pet-friendly.
ABOUT THE HOUSE
A wraparound porch with wicker seats and white rocking chairs welcomes you to this quintessential New England farmhouse.
On entry, you’ll walk straight into an open-concept dining/kitchen area with knotted pinewood floors.
A wood dining table seats 6 for hearty meals after a day of hiking, kayaking, and coastal adventures.
Opposite, a bright kitchen features classic white cabinetry and upscale appliances, including a side-by-side GE refrigerator and stainless steel gas range.
The kitchen leads through to a sunny living area with a leather recliner, fabric couch, and wicker chair. Flip through the channels on a 32" flat-screen TV with cable, and feel free to strike up a tune on the living room piano.
Glass doors open to a fenced backyard with a BBQ grill and 4-seater table for outdoor dining. Bringing your pooch on vacation? A doggie door lets them come and go from the yard as they please.
Off the living area, a fully carpeted guest bedroom features a queen-size bed with colorful linens and a 32" flat-screen TV.
A shared bathroom with coastal blues and whites has a shower/tub combo, leading to a separate laundry room.
Upstairs, the serene 2nd bedroom comes with a queen-size bed on a white wooden frame. In the master bedroom, guests can sprawl out in a king-size bed with plenty of storage to hang clothes in a spacious walk-in closet.

There’s also a small meditation structure away from the main house—perfect for morning meditation, yoga, or Tai Chi.

The best of Boothbay’s natural charms are within strolling distance of the house. Walk 4 minutes to the Ocean Point Preserve and launch kayaks onto the water, bring binoculars to spot wading birds, or hit 1 of the 2 scenic hiking trails and wetland views - all only .2 miles from the home (practically right next door!)
If you enjoy leisurely walks our home is only 2.1 miles to Carriage House Restaurant, and only 2.8 miles to East Boothbay General Store. The Lobsterman's Wharf Restaurant is just a short drive away.
Boothbay Harbor is only a 12-minute drive from home, with laid back cafes, shops, bars, and more local restaurants to delight. Be sure to make a stop at the Ocean Point Inn and Restaurant - just a short walk from the home (.9 miles) and also situated right inside Ocean Point Colony. Located .5 miles to ocean, this quintessential New England Farmhouse is perfect home base to relax after a day enjoying all Boothbay has to offer.
The harbor is also a great jumping off point for fishing, boating, and sailing. Book trips with Cap'n Fish and go in search of minke and humpback whales surfacing along the Maine coastline, or hop aboard the Schooner Eastwind and take a tour around the Burnt and Ram island lighthouses.
