Villa Bianca is an elegant family villa located in Vassena, a
beautiful hamlet on the shores of Lake Como just a short drive from
Bellagio. The owner fell in love with this amazing property and decided
to completely refurbish it, restoring it to its former glory. With such a
strategic position right on the Lake, you have breathtaking views from
the comfort of the spacious living area as well as from the outside
terrace or while relaxing poolside in the privacy of the extensive and
beautifully maintained villa grounds.
With such a fantastic location, this property is the ideal base for
exploring the Lake Como area. The villa also has a public dock nearby
where your private boat can come and pick you up for wonderful tours on
the Lake to visit the villages and villas on the Lake’s shores. For city
lovers, Como, Lecco, Bergamo, Milano and Lugano are all within a
convenient 90 minutes’ drive from the property.
A private driveway takes you directly from the main road into the
park of the villa where there are parking spaces for three cars.
The accommodations in the villa are located on three floors.
The
Ground Floor can be accessed directly from the main entrance with 8
steps leading into the spacious open-plan living area with comfortable
armchairs, sofas and small tables to relax inside reading a good book or
watching the satellite TV while enjoying the most amazing lake views
from the 6 French doors that lead onto the large terrace facing the
lake. This is the ideal spot for al fresco dining during the warm summer
months. There is, of course, also ample space to eat inside as well –
while also enjoying the view.
The kitchen on this floor is fully equipped with all of the modern appliances to satisfy even the most discerning gourmet chef!
An internal staircase leads to the First Floor (20 steps).
On
this floor, you have 5 separate bedrooms (2 singles and 3 doubles) as
well as 3 bathrooms with a shower (one of the double bedrooms has its
own en suite bathroom).
All bedrooms enjoy amazing views of the
Lake (full or partial) or of the park with its century-old trees and
well-maintained lawn. Three of the bedrooms also have access to large
outside terraces, where you can relax while sipping your afternoon tea.
An internal staircase (20 steps) leads to the Second Floor, an
exclusive penthouse with several windows overlooking the Lake and a
spacious private terrace perfect for romantic al fresco dinners or to
celebrate that special occasion in a unique setting. The penthouse is
completely independent from the rest of the villa with its own private living and dining area, fully equipped kitchen, one double bedroom,
one single bedroom and one bathroom with a shower and a bathtub.
Guest
also have access to part of the basement, including the laundry room
equipped with a washing machine. On this level there are also two
toilets and a bathroom, which are perfect for use with the swimming
pool, accessed from here through the staircase (5 steps). There is also a
pleasant pergola next to the pool for al fresco, poolside lunches.
