Argento description
This enchanting property, strategically situated on a rocky promontory overlooking the Amalfi coastline, is one of the most exclusive, private estates of this idyllic region. The extensive grounds, descending from the coast-road through a landscape of dense Mediterranean vegetation to a spectacular, sheer cliff-edge above a crystal-clear sea, offer a unique setting where tradition meets with innovation and relaxation reigns supreme.
The estate, boasts two outstanding constructions each with characteristic features and spectacular sea-views. Both are very distinct for architectural style and era: the Argento is a renovated, medieval, Saracen tower surrounded by several independent, stone outbuildings.
The Olearia is a contemporary residence designed by an eminent Italian architect in a harmonious fusion of style and local tradition.
These two units may be hired collectively or separately, both are equipped with private pool areas, terraces and luxury amenities.
Hidden away in a secluded corner there is also a charming, private chapel where it is possible to arrange romantic wedding ceremonies or other simple, yet elegant, celebrations.
On request, a chef proposes a daily choice of exquisite dishes from the area's traditional cuisine, homemade from local, seasonal products. Furthermore, a delicious Limoncello, prepared with the property's home-grown lemons, is available for those who may wish to try it.
Strolling around the property you may come across the friendly, pet donkeys, a small white dog and a fast dog blonde, or tiny Falabella ponies roaming freely in the grounds.

Argento is a medieval, Saracen watchtower situated within one of the most extensive, private estates of the Amalfi coast. The grounds of this property descend from the coast road down through a landscape of dense Mediterranean vegetation, lemon trellises and beautifully-tended gardens as far as the sheer sea cliff upon which the ancient tower stands.
The recently renovated tower is elegantly furnished with high quality furniture which further enhances the beauty of this unique building.
This enchanting property consists of the original Saracen tower and 3 additional, independent annexes strategically positioned throughout the grounds; the Longanesi is situated close to the main house, the Canonica, near to the pool area and the more intimate Casa delle Fragole, is a little more secluded and enjoys its own, very exclusive, view.
If needed, a further structure. A succession of panoramic terraces, offering breath-taking views of the unspoilt Amalfi coastline, provides the perfect setting for external lounge and dining areas. The property also boasts an exclusive, double swimming pool, set out on two levels and linked by a charming, communicating staircase.
A path leads down from the grounds to a private rocky beach at the waters' edge. In the living room there is WiFi internet. The standard of the bedrooms is slightly lower than the living areas.

Located next to Argento with 1 double bedroom and 1 bathroom with a glassed-in shower with views straight out to sea. Air conditioning and fridge.
Canonica - 3 people
Situated near to the swimming pool area with 1 double bedroom and 1 single bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower, a large living room giving onto a charming terrace.
Casa delle fragole - 4 people
Very intimate setting with 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower and a wonderful terrace perched high above the sea.
