A House for California Dreamin' description
When it comes to California beach living, it doesn't get any better than this. This 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath has a posh rooftop master suite and deck complete with a relaxing hot tub and a gourmet kitchen any chef will swoon for—5-burner gas stove, 2 dishwashers, and 2 ovens. Gaze at the ocean and the Channel Islands from both decks, the living room, and the kitchen.
It's a 2-minute walk to both the beach and Seaward Avenue's fantastic restaurants and bars, and the local surf shop is only 1 block away. Ventura Harbor is also close by—visit for boating, fishing, and romantic restaurant options.
INSIDE THE HOUSE
Enjoy airy 9-foot ceilings and modern construction throughout this oceanside duplex. The inviting living room has a lounge sofa and additional seating for 12, a gas fireplace, and 42” flatscreen TV complete with Netflix, HBO, Showtime, and more. This “smart” home is also set up for you to control heating, music, and other appliances from a tablet or phone.
There's not 1 but 2 ovens in the gourmet kitchen, plus a 5-burner gas stove and dual dishwashers. A bar area makes the kitchen extra welcoming, and a classy dining area seats 8 at a glass-top table. A deck off the dining area boasts spectacular views and comfortable seating. A ½ bath is located off the kitchen.
The master bedroom features a charming 4-poster king-size bed, a gas fireplace, and sweeping ocean views. Step out to the deck for a rooftop hot tub soak, grilling facilities, and lots of seating options. En suite bath has a jetted tub, a rain shower, and a dual-sink vanity. The 2nd bedroom has a queen-size bed, the 3rd has 2 twins, and the 4th has full-size bed. 2 additional bathrooms are located by the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms. There is a roll away bed available for one more person.
Beach chairs, toys, umbrella, boogie boards, and towels are stocked and at the ready for guest use.
THE LOCATION
With the beach, sushi, frozen yogurt ,and bike rentals within easy walking distance, you've found a hidden gem in sunny Ventura, California. You won't find any L.A. beach crowds here—there's just sun, surf, sand, and plenty of space for miles. Take a bike up the coast for a chance to see dolphins jump and dive below the waves.
Get the signature dish at Seaward Fish & Chips just 1 block away, and stop in at locally-owned Donut Dock for a latte and croissant. Looking to escape civilization for a day? Hitch a beautiful boat ride to Channel Islands National Park and take a walk on the wild side.
