Ballyhoo Cottage description
Ballyhoo Cottage enjoys an enviable location on gorgeous Grace Bay Beach. It's the ideal choice for honeymooners and couples celebrating a special anniversary.
The interiors are well furnished with tasteful decor. The palette is soft neutrals with handsome wood accents. Interiors are defined with textures of hand cut stone, travertine floors and tall peaked ceilings. The open living area boasts a 27" flat screen cable TV and stereo system. Beautiful French doors open from the living area to the private pool. For those that enjoy cooking, the kitchen is nicely equipped with stainless appliances, polished granite counter tops and a breakfast bar.
The bedroom is spacious and features a romantic four poster king sized bed. The bathroom is outfitted with dual vanities and granite counter tops. a nice features are the honeycomb window shades so that you can enjoy sleeping in should you desire. French doors open from the bedroom to the pool terrace.
The lovely private swimming pool is set on a spacious deck complete with a gazebo which is perfect for morning coffee or sunset cocktails. The area, also, boasts a BBQ gas grill for those nights you can't tear yourself away from this elegant retreat.
A hammock on the beach provides yet another way to enjoy the island and beach. The property is located at the Western end of Grace Bay Beach and offers a more secluded feel away from the hotels. It, however, still is in a very convenient area and walking distance to quite a few restaurants.
With the coral reef so close to the shore, a strip of rock exists between the sandy beach and the water. We suggest wearing water shoes as the rock can sometimes be slippery. A short walk beyond the rocks, however, brings you to a nice sandy area for swimming. For those that enjoy snorkeling, however, some of the best snorkeling at Smith's Reef is just outside the cottage's door.
Ballyhoo Cottage is an ideal retreat for two.
